Our small team is working on a demo for a 2D platformer built entirely in Godot, and the area that still needs the most love is the gameplay layer: enemies, combat, hazards, plus the supporting menus and overarching game systems and maybe more. The player-movement code is already solid; what we now need is a developer who can step into our existing repository, tighten the loose ends, and push everything to a shippable state.
What the work looks like • Finish and refine enemy, hazard logic, and menu / level-flow scripts already in progress. • Implement the full combat feature set the demo requires: basic melee attacks, enemy health handling, ranged projectiles, and special abilities with damage effects and knockback. • Review and fix any bugs.
How we collaborate • We coordinate through a private Discord, share progress in real time, and expect clear explanations of every solution. You should feel comfortable jumping on quick calls to walk the team through your changes when needed.
What I’d like to see from you • Email to studiophuico@gmail.com with links to your portfolio/playable builds/repositories that show you have shipped (or helped ship) Godot-based 2D action or platformer projects. Must know how to use Godot game engine & gdscript (No AI allowed. You must be able to explain and understand what your code is doing and even what the team programmers' code does)
