We're currently in a very early state, building the "Ground intercept" Portion of the game which involves commanding a Surface to air missile battery to defend against UFO's attacking a city.

Overview

We are developing a dark, retro-style alien invasion defense game using Godot, featuring aircraft chases, surface-to-air missile defense, Lots of Military control console radar screens and chonky buttons, andlots of retro 80s vibe with neon lighting. Think X-Com with more of a focus on cool military machines than soldiers.

Project has been going for a year and need a we second programmer to in general help out, with adding new features, bugfixing, implementing new ideas, and general skills and problem solving.

What we need from you:

We offer understanding and support while you are learning the layout and team guidelines for structure and tidyness on the project, we understand this takes months

We need someone with enough experience to do simple tasks efficiently without getting stuck,

We need someone that is able to talk with our senior programmer to work through difficult tasks.

We need somebody that can work with a team, and uphold their commitments.

This does also mean you probably need to reside in a country where NDA's are enforcable, and you will need to share personal details.

You'll need to of course understand and follow our rules and structure, write some code in GD script, then implement those features. Help us with adjustments, bounce ideas with us, assist our other programmer with feedback and bugfixes, provide efficiency, speed up tasks, but you can do so in a schedule that is casual and stress-free.
